Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a challenging opportunity in Birmingham, Alabama.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated.

As a valued member of the TRA team, you will have access to a greater level of contract security compared to working with an outside agency. Our benefits package includes guaranteed hours for travel contracts, preferred booking agreements for local contracts, and weekly pay.

Minimum education requirements include a graduate degree from an accredited School of nursing. Preferred education includes an academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master's degree). Minimum experience requirements include 2 years of nursing experience with a minimum one year current experience in their nursing specialty in an Acute Care hospital setting.

Required certification/licensure includes being currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. Must meet all certification requirements for each nursing specialty supported.
