Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Mechanic to join our team at Recreational Equipment. As a Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for the assembly and maintenance of bikes and snow sports equipment to meet REI and vendor standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and maintain bikes and snow sports equipment to meet REI and vendor standards.
  • Assess customer needs and confirm that services and products meet those needs.
  • Check in and out shop and rental equipment based on REI standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on action sports equipment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field, such as bike or snow sports equipment assembly and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
