Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to join our team in a full-time capacity. This position will involve working one-on-one with an elementary student in a supportive educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide sign language interpretation services to support the educational needs of an elementary student
  • Collaborate with educational staff to ensure effective communication and support
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the student's communication needs and preferences
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in sign language interpretation

Requirements:

  • ISBE Approval as a Sign Language Interpreter
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience as a sign language interpreter
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
