Our Commerce Engineering Program Management team is pivotal in facilitating subscriptions, promotions, and various offerings across Apple's Services, catering to hundreds of millions of users globally. We are in search of an experienced Engineering Program Manager to elevate the growth of our Services.
Role OverviewIn this position, you will oversee Promotions and Messaging initiatives across our services, collaborating with various departments to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of commerce functionalities to our users. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading cross-functional teams throughout all stages of the project lifecycle to provide exceptional experiences for our customers.
- Collaborating with Product, Engineering, Design, EPM peers, and Quality Assurance to define requirements and drive the execution of features from inception to launch.
- Establishing and implementing best practices and processes that empower teams to operate swiftly and effectively.
- Managing multiple concurrent features and roadmaps — coordinating scope, requirements, timelines, and resource distribution, while clearly communicating status updates, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- A minimum of 5 years of technical program management experience in delivering large-scale, global products and services.
- Proven experience in growing and retaining subscribers for consumer-oriented media services.
- A solid technological background with experience in delivering products that encompass both client and server development.
- Skilled in fostering relationships across diverse teams and organizations to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
- Ability to convey pertinent information to the appropriate stakeholders at the right time, with demonstrated experience in presenting work to leadership.
- Highly organized with the capability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Comfortable working independently while meticulously addressing details for innovative problem-solving.
- Strong critical thinking abilities with a customer-centric decision-making approach.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, PMP or similar certification, and/or extensive relevant industry experience is preferred.
