About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Principal Engineer to lead our Verification and Validation (V&V) efforts for complex electromechanical medical devices. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing V&V activities to ensure the safety and quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of V&V strategies, plans, and protocols for new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure V&V activities are aligned with product requirements and design specifications.
  • Develop and manage test protocols, procedures, and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Identify and drive solutions to complex technical problems and ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians to ensure V&V activities are executed effectively.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to the development of V&V processes and tools.
Requirements
  • 8-12 years of experience in V&V testing, preferably in electro-mechanical, electrical, or software testing.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software product design methodologies and test practices.
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to apply systems and therapy knowledge to ensure product safety and quality.
  • Test automation experience and/or product validation expertise is a plus.

The estimated base salary for this position is $120,000 to $165,000 annually, and individual pay is based on location, skills, and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
