We are seeking an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to enhance our outstanding team. This department focuses on the use of imaging techniques to facilitate minimally invasive procedures for diagnosing and treating various medical conditions.
In your role as an Interventional Radiology RN, you will deliver direct nursing care, monitor patient health, evaluate pain levels, administer medications, and maintain accurate patient records.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care in alignment with established policies and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Observe, document, and communicate patient conditions as necessary.
- Assess and document the effectiveness and timeliness of care interventions.
- Update and modify care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
- Act as the primary coordinator for interdisciplinary patient care.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing protocols.
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Evaluate and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
- Assess the educational needs of patients and their families, considering cultural and individual factors.
- Provide relevant teaching and educational resources.

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Completion of a Critical Care Course or equivalent on-the-job training.
- Familiarity with perioperative procedures or validated training in the operating room.
Certifications Required:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA must be obtained within the first year of employment, depending on department requirements.
- Additional certifications may be required based on specific departmental needs.
Work Environment:
- Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently.
- Must be capable of functioning in a high-pressure environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of one year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting is required.
- Consideration will be given to licensed military RN experience.
Physical Demands:
- Requires full range of motion, including lifting and handling patients.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must have corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges.
- May involve exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
