Job Summary

Walgreens is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a patient-centric role. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, interacting with customers, and developing strong patient relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation and dispensing of medications.
  • Interact with customers, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients and customers, and provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
  • May assist with clinical services, including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients.
  • Assist with exterior and interior maintenance of the pharmacy department.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
  • Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification.
