Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized educational strategies, including the creation of Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) to support each child's unique learning journey.
  • Regularly assess and monitor children's progress, providing constructive feedback and necessary reporting on their developmental milestones.
  • Act as an advocate for children, ensuring that their social, emotional, physical, and educational needs are adequately addressed.
  • Collaborate effectively with educational institutions to ensure comprehensive support for children's learning requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field; an advanced degree may be preferred.
  • Possession of an active Educator License from the Ohio Department of Education as an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist or in Early Childhood Education, with a supplemental endorsement in Prekindergarten; certification in learning and behavioral disorders is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with developmental challenges is essential; certifications in first aid, communicable diseases, and child abuse recognition must be obtained within 120 days of employment; current immunizations are mandatory.
