About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at SAL Community Services. As an Early Head Start Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social growth of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement high-quality lesson plans that promote learning and development;
  • Assess the developmental needs of children and build their knowledge and skills;
  • Develop positive working relationships with families and engage them in their child's learning journey;
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your knowledge, skills, and abilities as an early childhood educator.
Requirements
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in Infant/Toddler;
  • One year of full-time child development experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a licensed ECE center or early intervention program;
  • Preferred: CDA plus two years of full-time child development experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a licensed ECE center or early intervention program.
