Job Title: Radiologic Science Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Radiologic Science Professor to join our team at Tacoma Community College. As a Radiologic Science Professor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of radiologic sciences, including diagnostic imaging, radiography, and medical imaging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and mentor students in radiologic sciences, including diagnostic imaging, radiography, and medical imaging.
  • Develop and implement curriculum for radiologic sciences courses.
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement program goals and objectives.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and activities.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in radiologic sciences or a related field.
  • ARRT certification in radiography RT(R).
  • Three years of experience in a radiology department, performing diagnostic radiography exams.
  • Teaching experience in radiologic sciences, including clinical coordination and curriculum development.
  • Ability to meet Washington State vocational certification requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP), or Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) instructor experience.
