Responsibilities:
• Assist physicians and Advanced Care Practitioners with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering medications as directed.
• Perform routine administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, processing medical records, and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.
• Current certification from a recognized organization, such as the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.
