Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Student Advisor to join our team at Ultimate Medical Academy. As a Student Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting students in their academic and professional development, providing guidance and resources to help them achieve their goals.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, faculty, and staff. You will be responsible for providing academic advising, career coaching, and support services to students, as well as participating in process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide academic advising and career coaching to students, including course selection, academic planning, and career exploration.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with students, faculty, and staff to ensure seamless support services.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance student success and retention.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
  • Stay up-to-date on UMA policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
