Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a key member of our Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for performing complex imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) and other modalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT and other imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients for a wide range of complex imaging studies, including CT, MRI, and ultrasound
  • Develop and implement protocols for radiation safety and quality control
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • Current certification in radiologic technology (ARRT) and CT
  • At least one year of experience in a diagnostic imaging setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
