About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Service Technician to join our team at Siemens Healthineers PETNET Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing routine maintenance and repair services for our cyclotrons, associated chemistry modules, and manipulator arms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide service and maintenance for multiple cyclotrons, associated chemistry modules, and manipulator arms as assigned.
  • Monitor and positively affect financial and operational performance.
  • Work in compliance with all regulatory standards, including EH&S, cGMP, Radiation Safety, applicable pharmacy laws, DOT, and internal policies.
  • Incorporate new technology, products, and processes into daily operations.
  • Participate in personnel training and staff development.
  • Work cross-functionally with production team to successfully implement strategic initiatives.
  • Respond to calls for service support within a reasonable amount of time.
  • Complete and submit work history tickets, timecards, assigned training, and expense reports in a timely fashion.
  • Schedule work and manage spare parts usage to minimize costs and maximize effectiveness.
  • Monitor and improve Up Time for site cyclotron system(s).
  • Participate in the assessment of semi-complex product and equipment performance and recommend modifications and improvements.
  • Participate in routine biomarker production function as needed.
  • Able to perform CCS upgrades in the US and around the world.
Requirements
  • Good PC skills, including MS Office software.
  • Excellent low and high voltage, RF, and vacuum systems background.
  • Basic plumbing experience.
  • Very good mechanical abilities.
  • Experience setting up LAN systems and LAN switches.
  • Willingness to learn about new software and hardware solutions.
  • Ability to travel and flexibility, including short-term international deployment.
  • Very good presentation skills in the customer environment.
  • Team orientation, communication skills, and customer orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Experience in repairing CRL and Telemanipulator remote arms.
