We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Manager to lead our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit team at John Muir Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and mentor a team of nurses to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve unit efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to standardize care and promote best practices.
- Participate in operational planning and prioritize tasks to achieve unit goals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Master's Degree in Nursing or related field required.
- 2 years of nursing leadership experience as a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager.
- Previous experience in Pediatric Intensive Care required.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in Pediatrics strongly preferred.
- RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing required.
- BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association required.
- Specialty Certifications - ANCC American Nurses Credentialing Center required within 2 years of hire.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Pay Range:
$177, $266,945.00SalaryOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.Scheduled Weekly Hours:40
