Job Title: Infusion Nurse

New England Life Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Infusion Nurse to join our team in the Portland, Maine area. As an Infusion Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care to home infusion therapy patients in conjunction with physician orders.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement individualized plans of treatment that meet each patient's specific needs.
  • Accurately perform initial and ongoing patient assessments of home infusion therapy patients.
  • Provide comprehensive initial and ongoing patient and caregiver education relating to the prescribed home infusion therapy.
  • Effectively communicate changes in patient status to appropriate members of the infusion and reimbursement teams.
  • Insert, maintain, troubleshoot, and discontinue infusion access as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Nursing or diploma with equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years acute care experience.
  • Previous home health nursing experience preferred.
  • Current R.N. license in good standing in the state(s) where providing care / services.
