Family Centered Treatment Therapist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Centered Treatment Therapist to join our team at Saint Francis Community Services. As a Family Centered Treatment Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing family-centered treatment to children and families served by our program.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide family-centered treatment plans, therapy, resources, and interventions to create a strong family environment that meets the needs of the child and families served.

* Enroll in Wheels of Change training program and complete the first 4 units within 14 days of hire.

* Complete all requirements to be certified in the FCT model within 365 days of start date.

* Conduct initial and ongoing assessments that are strength-based and individualized to be incorporated in treatment plans.

* Attend and participate in weekly team supervision meetings where cases are reviewed, and feedback is provided.

* Facilitate and monitor ongoing treatment, planning, and implementation.

* Include the family in individualized treatment plans that are periodically updated to reflect the goals of the family and child and focuses on empowerment and increasing parent accountability.

* Provide FCT in-home family treatment, adhering to and ensuring fidelity to the FCT model.

* Ability to prioritize cases and organize multiple case demands for multiple clients.

* Assigned a caseload of 5 families, spending an average of 4 hours per week with clients, a minimum of 2 weekly contacts, in compliance with the FCT model.

* Serve as liaison with DCF, courts, schools, other providers, and community.

* Provide thorough documentation including treatment plans, progress notes, monthly reports, and assessments and submitted within the required deadlines reflecting language that is related to the model.

* Complete and maintain all program fidelity documents in a timely manner.

* Assist in monitoring the overall client satisfaction of the program.

* Provides intervention for clients in crisis situations 24 hour on-call, 365 days.

* Attend court, prepare youth and families of court, and communicate with the case manager and court staff when necessary, in consultation with the family and DCF.

* Fulfill the requirements for billing for therapy including completion of the Mental Health Assessment & Initial Treatment Plan, documentation, and discharge summary.

* Ability to establish and maintain good community relations with other professionals.

**Requirements**

* Master's degree in Mental Health Profession e.g.: Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling or related field from an accredited college or university.

* Licensed and in good standing with Kansas BSRB.

* At least one year of experience working with children and families.

* Must be 21 years of age.

* Must pass a drug screen, MVR, KBI, Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry Clearance Check, and an Adult Registry check.

* FBI Fingerprint Check

* Lifting requirements of 50 lbs.

* Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
