Eligibility:

Role Overview:

In this position, you will leverage your extensive systems, software, cloud, and Agile expertise to support a complex program focused on Agile development and operations for critical systems. Operating within a DevOps framework, you will be involved in and/or lead significant project deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle, including scope definition, work estimation, architecture design, coding, and unit testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in software programming initiatives to foster innovation and enhancements, utilizing technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Python, SpringBoot, Hibernate, and Angular.
  • Design and implement software system validation and testing methodologies using tools like Junit and Katalon.
  • Develop and integrate custom software solutions to utilize automated deployment technologies.
  • Prototype and deploy solutions within Commercial Cloud Solutions, leveraging infrastructure platform services.
  • Collaborate closely with team members, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to ensure alignment of User Stories with customer use cases.
  • Conduct analysis through proof of concept, performance, and end-to-end testing to coordinate infrastructure needs driven by developed software.
  • Support the Agile software development lifecycle by adhering to Program SAFe practices.
  • Utilize industry-leading DevOps tools, including GitHub, Jenkins, and Unix bash scripting.
  • Document and execute systems software development, including the deployment of build artifacts across various environments using GitFlow constructs.
  • Communicate essential project data to team members to foster team cohesion and effectiveness.
  • Utilize the Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA and Confluence, to track activities.
  • Identify and apply best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Devise innovative solutions to meet the technical requirements of clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Current TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly is required.
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience with Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and development methodologies.
  • Proficient in Java, JavaScript, and Angular.
  • Strong background in the software development lifecycle, with experience in DevOps toolsets and practices.
  • Hands-on experience with software testing performance tools, such as Junit.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages, including Python and Bash.
  • Experience in an Agile development environment.
  • Experience with development in Commercial Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Experience with cloud data services (e.g., S3, RDS, EFS).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in version control systems.
  • Experienced with issue/problem tracking systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS Data management services (Elastic Map Reduce, Lambda, Kinesis).
  • Familiarity with SAFe development practices.
  • Experience with technologies such as Python, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Hive, Pig, or C++ is advantageous.
