Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team. You will be responsible for administering therapeutic devices and medications as ordered by physicians, performing patient assessments, and collaborating with our team to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer therapeutic devices and medications as ordered by physicians
  • Perform patient assessments and develop plans of care based on assessment data and standards of care
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and ensure safety during procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care program
  • Hold the credential of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
  • Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Connecticut
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advance Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) certification
