**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hoamco. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our communities. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring that all work is executed to the highest standard.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including pool and spa maintenance, fire system maintenance, and emergency service work
* Maintain community buildings, including touch-up painting and repairs
* Perform temporary and permanent repairs to buildings to stop water, rodent, and insect intrusions
* Clean gutters and perform minor repairs
* Perform interior and exterior touch-up painting
* Participate in weekend rotation to provide necessary assistance in water leaks, storm clean-up, fire response, and weekend pool/spa maintenance
* Pressure washing, digging holes, replacing expansion joints, and replacing light bulbs and streetlights
* Complete and communicate work orders, tracking time and materials

**Requirements:**

* 12 months of previous maintenance or construction experience
* Entry-level trade tool function and operation of hand and power tools
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make educated decisions
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to multi-task and lift 50 pounds
* Hold a valid driver's license and pass a drug test
