Job Title: Senior Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team at BRPH in Charleston, South Carolina. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading complex architectural projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement project plans.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior architects and designers.
  • Conduct site visits and monitor project progress to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Eight years of experience in architecture, with a minimum of five years in a leadership or management role.
  • Registered Architect (RA) certification and licensure in the state of South Carolina.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Experience with building information modeling (BIM) software and other architectural design tools.
  • Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and methods.
  • Ability to travel to project sites and attend meetings as needed.
