Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management, immunizations, and diagnostic testing.
- Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications, adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to optimize medication regimens and improve health outcomes.
- Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote health and wellness.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy operations and policies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to pharmacy staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements:
- Pharmacist degree from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure in the state(s) within the district.
- Experience in retail pharmacy settings, with a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
- Certified Immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
