The successful candidate will have the opportunity to bridge the gap between academic training and independent clinical practice, developing the necessary clinical competencies to excel in their field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and administer diagnostic tests to patients/clients seeking clinical care and services at UTMB.
  • Analyze results of tests and develop treatment plans.
  • Conduct counseling and make recommendations for transfer, discharge, and follow-up activities.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and coordination of new service programs.
  • Write professional reports and ensure compliance with all required training programs.
Requirements
  • PhD, MD, or Doctoral equivalent in any field.
  • Considerable knowledge of a health-related field or discipline.
  • Ability to make clinical diagnosis and prognosis, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and provide consultation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
