Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Travel Nurses, Inc. in Hilo, Hawaii. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure in the state of Hawaii.
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in new environments.
