Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled locksmith to join our team at the Maryland Department of Transportation. As a Locksmith (Skilled Trade Specialist II), you will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and repairing locking systems, door closures, and locking devices at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI Marshall Airport).

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair locking systems, door closures, and locking devices
• Install new locking systems and devices
• Operate motorized equipment and move physical objects
• Maintain digital and physical records
• Work rotating shift work, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate
• Three (3) years of locksmith experience
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license in the state of Maryland
