Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a key member of our Imaging Department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures with minimal supervision.
About the Role:
This is a PRN position, which means you will work on an as-needed basis to support our busy ultrasound department. You will be responsible for:
- Performing ultrasound procedures on patients of all ages, from infants to adults
- Preparing patients for procedures, including explaining the process and obtaining informed consent
- Operating ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images
- Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)
- Knowledge of a specialized field, including ultrasound principles and techniques
- Graduation from an accredited and certified Ultrasound program
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
- RDMS certification
- RVT certification (preferred)
