Job Summary

The Human Resources Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Human Resources Team, collaborating closely with managers, supervisors, and associates to drive business success. This field-based position is responsible for delivering exceptional HR services, with a focus on payroll, diversity, inclusion, and engagement, associate and labor relations, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Associate and Labor Relations: Foster a workplace culture that reflects our Employee Value Proposition, ensuring a positive Associate Experience through onboarding and new hire orientation.
  • Diversity, Inclusion, and Engagement: Champion and promote diversity in all aspects of human resource practices, working with managers to create and maintain a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, communicating and interpreting company policies and procedures.
  • Payroll: Ensure accurate timecard completion and payroll processing, working with Operations and Engineering to ensure incentives are correctly input.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • SHRM or HRCI Certification(s) preferred
  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Creative problem-solving and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
Physical Requirements

The associate will be required to read, communicate verbally and/or in written form, remember and analyze certain information, and remember and understand certain instructions or guidelines. While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be required to stand, walk, and sit, frequently use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs/12kg.
