RSUI Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Claims Specialist to enhance our Management Liability and Employment Practices Liability (EPL) claims division. This role is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and is pivotal in delivering expert claim management for EPL exposures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations of employment practices claims.
- Manage complex claims assertively, including litigation and high-exposure cases, while keeping reinsurers informed.
- Provide timely and accurate coverage assessments and collaborate with appointed legal counsel to formulate defense strategies.
- Analyze legal documents and motion practices related to employment practices claims.
- When necessary, appoint and coordinate with coverage counsel.
- Maintain ongoing communication and reporting throughout the claims process.
- Participate in or assist with litigation and coverage mediations.
- Deliver comprehensive reporting to unit leaders and senior management, including recommendations on reserving and action plans.
- Independently evaluate claim exposures within assigned authority limits.
- Engage in business-related activities such as team meetings and company events.
- Perform various other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) strongly preferred; a college degree or equivalent business experience is required.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Management Liability or EPL claims handling is preferred.
- Experience as an attorney is advantageous.
- Adjuster's licenses are required or must be readily obtainable.
- Possess strong technical and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Demonstrated understanding of customer service principles.
- Experience in specialized claims handling, particularly in employment practices, is preferred.
- Current knowledge of legal issues, civil procedures, and investigation principles is necessary.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
