The Role
We are looking for a Veterinary Care Professional who can work effectively as part of our clinical team, supporting veterinarians and veterinary technicians to deliver exceptional patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, working together to ensure the health and well-being of pets.
Main Responsibilities
- Technical Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in applying technical skills acquired through education and experience, including expertise in surgery, dentistry, laboratory procedures, venipuncture, and proper restraint techniques.
- Day-to-Day Efficiency: Contribute to the smooth operation of the hospital, utilizing exceptional communication skills to engage with team members and clients effectively.
- Medical Charting: Maintain thorough and accurate medical charting for all patients, consistently meeting hospital quality control standards.
- Clinical Support: Provide assistance with various clinical tasks, such as managing hospital supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the completion of assigned duties.
Customer Service Delivery:
- Professional Service: Consistently provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service to clients and their pets.
- Effective Communication: Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills when interacting with the veterinary team and clients.
- Adaptability: Effectively adapt to individual client needs and preferences.
Additional Requirements:
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb, with the capacity to lift 50+ pounds.
- Working Conditions: May be exposed to pets that may bite or scratch, biological hazards, anesthesia medications, radiation, and prescription medications.
Compensation Package:
We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
