Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Testing Specialist to join our team at ICONMA. As a key member of our Validation Engineering team, you will be responsible for conducting tests to evaluate the performance of automotive seating.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tests to evaluate the performance of automotive seating, ensuring that all tests are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with published specifications and requirements.
  • Own responsibility for carrying out tests, including setup and execution of requested tests according to work orders.
  • Install test instrumentation, such as accelerometers and load cells, as required by the test procedure.
  • Setup and usage of programmable controllers and environmental chambers.
  • Perform routine maintenance on lab and testing equipment, documenting all activities.
  • Collect and document test data using a Data Acquisition system.
  • Compile reports on findings and testing data gathered, providing recommendations and advice to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain lab and testing equipment regularly, discussing findings with team members and consulting with management as needed.
  • Report any issues through the appropriate channels and continuously strive to improve work procedures.

  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
