Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nocturnal Care Supervisor to oversee, assess, and provide exceptional standards of personalized care to our residents. The role emphasizes treating each individual with respect and dignity, ensuring their rights to privacy, independence, and choice are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assume leadership of the facility during night hours or in the absence of senior management.
• Deliver the highest level of personal care, adhering to individual care plans while ensuring all interactions are courteous, warm, and supportive.
• Maintain compliance with all statutory and legal obligations, including Health & Safety regulations and the Health & Social Care Act.

• Collaborate in the development of personalized care plans and administer prescribed medications, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Remain vigilant regarding residents' physical and mental health, promptly addressing and reporting any changes in their condition, while liaising with other healthcare professionals as necessary.

• Uphold confidentiality regarding residents' personal information, including their behaviors and any incidents that may arise during care.

• Foster a compassionate environment among care teams, encouraging residents to engage in leisure activities that cater to their individual needs, thus addressing their social and emotional well-being.

• Perform general care assistant duties as required throughout the facility.
• Act as a proactive and supportive senior member of the care team, leading team meetings, ensuring effective communication, and guiding the training of new care assistants.

• Participate in the marketing efforts of the home to maintain an adequate resident capacity with a skilled and trained staff ratio.
• Collaborate with the Lifestyle team to support resident activities.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a caregiving environment.
• NVQ Level 3 in Direct Care.

Desired Experience:
• Comprehensive experience in managing personnel, service quality, and achieving performance objectives.
• Extensive background in care delivery within a care home setting, demonstrating a strong service ethos.
• Proven experience in staff management and meeting regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and auditing techniques.
• Understanding of profit and loss structures and budget management.
