Training Overview:
During designated training weeks, Managers in Training collaborate with Training Managers, acquiring insights and best practices for managing a convenience store. In supervisory weeks, they engage in diverse shifts alongside team members, applying their leadership training. After completing training, Managers in Training join our leadership team, stepping in during absences until assigned to their own store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly, as we pride ourselves on exceptional customer service.
- Assist the Store Manager in cultivating a strong team through training, scheduling, and coaching. Lead by establishing clear goals, holding yourself and others accountable, and maintaining effective communication.
- Monitor inventory levels on the sales floor, ensuring stock rotation and availability. Our guests rely on us to maintain 100% stock at all times.
- Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety protocols in locations offering hot food.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring that all areas, including the coffee station and food service area, are spotless.
- Efficiently operate the cash register.
- In locations providing hot food, assist the Store Manager in overseeing quality control, merchandising, and safety protocols for successful food service operations. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager or District Manager.

Qualifications:
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education:
Minimum Experience: 1 year in retail or food service
Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service, or restaurant management in a leadership capacity
Preferred Certifications and Skills: ServSafe/Food Safety certification is a plus but not mandatory
Essential Soft Skills:
- Comfortable engaging with guests and team members.
- High energy and enthusiasm.
- Ability to transition quickly between tasks.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to assist others.
- Basic computer skills are beneficial.
Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and perform various physical tasks. The work environment typically has a moderate noise level.
Additional Information: Specialized attire may be required in food service settings (hats or visors, gloves, etc. will be provided).
