About the Role

Crestwyn Behavioral Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill a leadership position in our nursing team. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing and coordinating care to patients, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide and Coordinate Care: Assess physical and behavioral health needs of patients, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
  • Lead Nursing Team: Function as the lead nurse on assigned shifts, responsible for staff assignments and/or direction of duties, tasks or projects.
  • Professional Leadership: Provide professional and administrative leadership to staff, accountable for the oversight of staffing performance.
  • Coordinate Care Activities: Coordinate nursing, medical and/or behavioral health care activities with all staff to ensure smooth and complete coordination of efforts during shared shifts.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise staff assignments according to education and ability, provide mentoring and training as needed.
  • Document Care: Document medical, behavioral health information and nursing care, administer medications and maintain records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop Care Plans: Assist in developing a plan of care with specific and measurable goals, objectives and interventions defining actions unique to each patient's needs.
  • Maintain a Therapeutic Environment: Provide structure and maintain a therapeutic environment in collaboration with patients and other care providers.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required, three or more years experience in nursing practice required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Current RN license as required by state, CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
