Terminal Driver

Job Overview

Fastenal is seeking a skilled Terminal Driver to join our transportation team. As a Terminal Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products from our distribution centers to branches and customer on-site locations. You will operate a safe and well-maintained tractor trailer, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Responsibilities

* Provide excellent service to our branches and customers by delivering products in a prompt and efficient manner
* Interact with our shipping and receiving departments to ensure smooth operations
* Maintain a clean work environment within our equipment and adhere to health, safety, and sustainability regulations
* Participate in activities and programs that promote health, safety, and sustainability objectives
* Comply with health, safety, and sustainability rules and expectations

Requirements

* Possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or be in the process of obtaining one
* Possess a current Health Card or have the ability to obtain one
* Meet Fastenal's driving record requirements
* Possess strong working knowledge of the DOT regulations in regards to a CDL Driver
* Maintain DOT regulated Drivers Hours-of-Service
* Willingness to drive interstate routes across state lines
* Demonstrate Fastenal's core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
* Lift up to 60lbs. and maneuver up to 150lbs.
* Successfully complete the required DOT drug and alcohol screens, road test, employment verification, and background check
