Position Title: Restorative Care Volunteer (NON-PAID, FEMALE ONLY)

Supervisor: House Manager/Volunteer Coordinator

Position Summary: As a Restorative Care Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the lives of women navigating their recovery journey. Your involvement is crucial in aiding those who have faced exploitation and trafficking. Responsibilities may encompass providing transportation, offering emotional support to participants, engaging in recovery activities, leading educational sessions or bible studies, and participating in various events within the Restorative Care Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and supply all necessary resources for planned activities.
  • Collaborate with the Restorative Care Director and House Manager to finalize details for activities.
  • Adhere to ERRC Program protocols during transportation and interactions with residents.
  • Implement Abuse Risk Management strategies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Completion of Restorative Care Volunteer Training is mandatory.
  • Successful background check clearance is required.
  • Must possess all necessary training for approved activities (specific to each case).

Additional Requirements:

  • Adherence to the Elijah Rising Statement of Faith is essential.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Vision capabilities must include both close and distant vision, along with the ability to focus.
  • Hearing capabilities must allow for normal conversation and exposure to moderate to loud environments for extended periods.
  • Physical tasks may include climbing stairs, bending, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
