General Overview:
The role involves overseeing all on-site construction operations and managing field personnel to ensure the successful execution of projects within the established timeline and budget. This position emphasizes maintaining high standards of quality and productivity, supervising all trades and field staff, while implementing effective safety protocols throughout all on-site activities. Additionally, the role includes managing the job site office and ensuring project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all construction activities on-site.
- Guide field personnel to ensure project completion aligns with the schedule, budget, and quality standards as per original plans and specifications.
- Maintain the construction schedule and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Order necessary materials and arrange for inspections throughout the construction process.
- Comprehend project plans and specifications thoroughly.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and team members.
- Prepare, schedule, and supervise the completion of the final punch list.
- Promote safety on the job site, encourage safe work practices, and address hazards immediately.
- Ensure compliance with the company's safety policies by all employees and contractors.
- Maintain an organized job site, including the construction office.

Physical Requirements:
This position is primarily field-based, involving activities such as standing, sitting, climbing, crawling, bending, pushing/pulling, and walking on uneven surfaces. Exposure to loud noises and varying weather conditions is expected.
Position Type and Work Hours:
This is a full-time, salaried position with variable days and hours depending on the job site. Evening or weekend work and travel may be necessary as required by job duties.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of field experience or a degree in Construction Management.
- Preferred NCCER Certification in Industrial Carpentry or willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and overseeing all phases of construction.
Industry-Specific Requirements:
- Must possess a valid TWIC Card.
- Must have a valid OSHA Basic Plus certification.
- Must successfully complete all Safety Council-related courses.
- Must undergo pre-employment screening, including physical, drug and alcohol tests, audiogram, and fit test if applicable.
- Must hold a valid Driver's License for operating company vehicles and equipment.
The individual in this role must not pose a direct threat or significant risk to the health or safety of themselves or others that cannot be mitigated through reasonable accommodations.
