Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on the Mixed Acuity/Oncology unit. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive daily assessments of patients and prioritize care based on their needs.
  • Deliver high-quality patient education and support to patients and their families.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care.
Requirements
  • Active Kentucky practical nurse license or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • One year of patient care experience in a specialty area, preferably oncology.
