- Implement evidence-based therapy interventions to improve patient communication skills and overall quality of life.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and coordinate discharge planning.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and educational opportunities to enhance professional growth and development.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) certification.
- Licensure in Speech Pathology-Michigan or temporary license during the CFY.
- Experience working with adult and pediatric populations with neurological speech and language disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
