Job Description:
  • * Conduct comprehensive evaluations, assess home environments (as necessary), and identify equipment needs related to speech and language functions.
    * Identify functional speech defects, establish goals to improve patients' communication skills, and participate in the development of interdisciplinary plans of care.
    * Recommend communication devices or aids as indicated.
    * Prepare and submit clinical and progress records according to Company policies, federal/state regulations, and JCAHO standards.

Requirements:
  • * Hold a degree and internship from an approved master's program in Speech-Language Pathology or meet applicable law and regulation requirements.
    * Meet education and experience criteria for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
    * Possess valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role.
    * Maintain a valid driver's license and insured vehicle in accordance with state and/or home health requirements.

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year.
