About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our retail sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, and driving sales growth through effective product recommendations and promotions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through prompt and accurate sales transactions, product recommendations, and issue resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, driving revenue growth and contributing to the success of the store.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, features, and benefits, effectively communicating this information to customers and colleagues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, assisting with inventory management and stock replenishment.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and display setup, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, accurately tracking and reporting stock levels and discrepancies.
  • Contribute to sales growth by suggesting new products and promotions, and providing feedback on customer preferences and needs.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
