Job Summary
The Waterfront Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all campers and staff who are in and around the waterfront area. This includes being present and attentive during all waterfront activities, such as swimming, canoeing, tubing, and water sports. The specialist may also be required to assist in other areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility, patience, and endurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain a safe environment for campers and staff
- Provide first aid and CPR services as needed
- Enforce safety rules and regulations
- Assist in other areas as needed, such as camp operations and maintenance
Requirements
The Waterfront Safety Specialist must be certified in First Aid and CPR (Level C) and have a current National Lifeguard Society Certification. They must also have current Standard First Aid & CPR-C with AED, along with current Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard (Waterfront) certification. The specialist must be 16 years old and have all certifications current.
Compensation
The Waterfront Safety Specialist will receive a weekly stipend of $300, plus accommodation and meals.
