We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dialysis RN to join our team at TravelNurseSource. As a Dialysis RN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in multiple modalities, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, ultrafiltration, and continuous renal replacement therapy.
- Supervise and direct Patient Care Technicians and clerical staff.
- Provide education and direction to ICU staff for CRRT.
- Assess patients' responses to treatment therapy and make adjustments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and other healthcare team members.
- Initiate and communicate treatment plans to Client facility nursing staff and hospital personnel.
- Clean and disinfect dialysis machine surfaces, chairs, equipment, and surrounding areas.
- Operate dialysis machines and related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Document all treatment information in patient records and hospital records.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
- Current appropriate state licensure.
- Minimum 2 years inpatient dialysis nursing experience.
- Demonstrated strong assessment skills related to critically ill patients.
- BLS CPR Recognition.
- ACLS CPR Recognition preferred.
