Avera Queen of Peace is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for the daily coordination and delivery of diagnostic and therapeutic services in the area of speech, language, cognition, feeding, and swallowing for infant through adult patient populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care to patients with a range of communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology from an American Speech-Language Hearing Association Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) accredited program.
  • Licensed by the State of South Dakota as a Speech Language Pathologist.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $45.75 per hour.
  • PRN – as needed, casual requirements per department policy.
