Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg team at Ascension Seton. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, implement and monitor patient care plans, and serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessing and coordinating patient care plans, monitoring patient condition, and communicating with physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team, ensuring a smooth transition of care.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or professional licensure at time of hire required.
