Position Overview

The Clinical Nurse in the Observation Unit plays a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients. This position requires a dedicated professional who is responsible for managing patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the observation setting.
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Work closely with healthcare team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to meet individual needs.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff and support personnel.
  • Prepare patients for discharge and provide education to patients and their families.

Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program with less than 2 years of experience.
  • ACLS and CPR certifications are mandatory.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
  • NIHSS certification is a plus.
