We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our team in Eagan, Minnesota. As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for planning materials and production processes for a broad range of products. Your duties will include identifying materials and process requirements, determining lot sizes, creating and releasing production orders, and monitoring production orders to ensure quality.
About the Role:
- Identify materials and process requirements for finished good production orders.
- Determine lot sizes for general shipment and replenishment orders.
- Create and release production orders to communicate all details necessary to ensure accurate production.
- Monitor production orders through the planning process to ensure quality and determine optimal processing of production orders.
- Forecast products in SAP and develop product specifications for input into SAP.
- Maintain material master data and schedule binder and tab specifications.
- Collaborate with production and other internal departments.
- Proactively build relationships with internal and external customers and monitor all product components.
- Provide backup support to Account Representatives and perform system testing.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and some work experience in a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Knowledge of material requirements planning for a broad range of products.
- High level of proficiency in SAP.
- Mathematical, analytical, and logic skills.
