Server Associate

Job Summary:

Il Fornaio is seeking a skilled and experienced Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently, communicating with the kitchen and bar staff as needed.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Manage tables effectively, ensuring seamless service and minimizing wait times.
• Process payments and handle cash transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Server in a full-service restaurant environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer, with the ability to make recommendations to guests.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods, with a flexible schedule including weekend availability.
• RBS Certified or within 60 days of hire, and Food Handlers Card or within 30 days from date of hire.
