Job Title: Janitorial Day Porter Cleaner

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Day Porter Cleaner to join our team at the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our customers' medical buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided Service Master products, tools, and procedures.
  • Terminal cleaning of Exam and OR rooms and recovery area, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom cleaning, spot cleaning windows and glass, dusting, and sanitizing.
  • Ordering of supplies and equipment for your work site, as well as caring for the equipment properly.
  • Use proper PPE where required.
  • Opens and locks facilities, enables and disables security system as required.
Requirements:
  • Constant standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
  • Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses.
  • 1-2 years' experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper a plus but not required.
  • Will provide on-the-job training to those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
  • Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude.
  • Contribute to the overall team effort, including being in uniform, dependable, and on time.
  • Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect.
Compensation:

$13.00 per hour
