Job Summary

Arnot Health is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will assist in the preparation and performance of endoscopic procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of patients for endoscopic procedures, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and preparing supplies.
  • Operate endoscopic equipment, including gastroscopes and colonoscopes, to visualize the interior of the digestive tract.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any complications or emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and procedure details.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions

The Endoscopy Technician will work in a clinical setting, with frequent exposure to blood and bodily fluids. The ability to lift and move heavy equipment is required.
