THE POSITION
Join our team as we expand our capabilities

We are seeking a skilled Lead Cloud Operations Engineer to become a vital member of our Compute Operations engineering team within the Developer Lifecycle organization. This team is responsible for establishing a scalable and dependable compute infrastructure to support FanDuel's extensive and intricate application microservice architecture across various deployment locations, each with unique geographic and regulatory requirements. The Compute Operations team defines our compute infrastructure, manages Kubernetes clusters, oversees VM-based stateful workloads, and maintains infrastructure as code assets.

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced technologists who are strong communicators and committed to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will confidently propose practical solutions to complex challenges and be eager to learn from and teach others. As a Lead Cloud Operations Engineer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tackle intricate problems and develop world-class infrastructure, enhancing our innovative developer experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of hosting technologies such as Kubernetes, EC2, ECS, and Lambda.
